Peter Wirth (1951–2018)
Peter Wirth built one of the most prolific bodies of work in contemporary German art -- more than 30,000 paintings, prints, drawings, and photographs created across four decades. Trained at the Folkwang School of Art in Essen, he moved between etching, lithography, acrylic abstraction, and photographic transformation with equal command.
