Sizes

Our sizes are US standards, so a print fits a frame you already own — 8 × 10, 11 × 14 and 16 × 20 inches are carried by every frame shop. Every sheet carries a white border and the artwork sits inside it at its own proportions — nothing is cropped to fit.

How big is it, really

Drawn to scale. The sofa is a standard three-seater, 84 inches wide.

A print looks smaller on a wall than it does on a screen. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one — that is the advice we would give a friend, and it is the one we give here.

Framed, ready to hang

A narrow black wood frame — 20 mm face, 22 mm deep — with acrylic glazing and hanging hardware fitted. No mount: the sheet's own white border does that work, so a framed 16 × 20 is a 16 × 20 sheet, whole. More on the frame.

8 × 10 inches is offered unframed only. At that size a frame costs less than the print and you can buy one anywhere, so we leave the choice to you.

18 × 24 inches is offered unframed only. At that size a frame travels badly, and a framer near you will do better work than a parcel service allows.

A set costs less than the same prints bought singly, and it ships as one parcel. Every sheet in a set carries its own certificate.

Two or more works

Buy two or more single works and ten per cent comes off automatically at checkout. From six works it is fifteen per cent. It applies to the single works, not to the curated sets — a set is already priced below the same prints bought singly.

Not every work is offered in every size

The archive was photographed between 2005 and 2016, with the cameras of those years. Each work is offered in the sizes its source file supports at full fine-art resolution. We do not enlarge with software. More on that here.
