Care instructions

Detail from White Roses II by Peter Wirth
Detail — White Roses II, acrylic on canvas

Unframed prints

Handle by the white border only. Store flat in archival packaging or acid-free tissue. Avoid direct sunlight, humidity and heat.

Framed prints

Clean the acrylic glazing with a dry microfibre cloth only — no glass cleaner, no ammonia, no solvents. The frame itself needs no maintenance. Avoid sustained direct sunlight.

Why it matters

The paper is 100 % alpha-cellulose, acid-free and buffered with calcium carbonate, made to archival standards. Kept out of direct sunlight and behind glazing, pigment inks on this paper are made for permanence, and how long a print keeps its colour depends mostly on where it hangs. No paper survives full sun. Hang the work where you would be comfortable sitting.
