Emerald Crown in Deep Blue
Emerald on deep blue, a pale band running across.
Fine art reproduction after the original by Peter Wirth (1951–2018): acrylic on unprimed cotton canvas, from the cycle painted between 1987 and 1992. Original 120 × 100 cm (47 × 39 in), catalog W.859.
Printed to order on Hahnemühle German Etching, 310 gsm, with pigment inks. Sheet 8 × 10 in; printed image about 6.2 × 7.5 in, centered in a white border, in its original proportions — nothing is cropped to fit the paper.
Unframed, 8 × 10 inches — the only size we offer for this work. The archive file supports that sheet at 239 ppi; a larger sheet would mean upscaling, and we do not upscale.
Open edition. These prints are not numbered and not capped. The artist's signature on the sheet belongs to the reproduction and is printed — it is not applied by hand.
Every print ships with a certificate naming the work, the original and your print. Its registration number identifies your copy in our archive; it is not an edition number.
From the group of Egyptian paintings Peter Wirth made between 1987 and 1992.
Made to order: your print leaves the studio within one to five business days, with delivery in a further five to ten. Free shipping to all fifty US states.

Size Guide
8 × 10 in (20 × 25 cm)
11 × 14 in (28 × 36 cm)
12 × 16 in (30 × 41 cm)
16 × 20 in (41 × 51 cm)
18 × 24 in (46 × 61 cm)
These are sheet sizes. Every unframed print carries a white border, and the artwork sits inside it at its own proportions — so the image is smaller than the sheet, and nothing is cropped to fit.
The size guide shows all five to scale against a sofa.

Before you buy
See it on your wall
Upload a photo of your wall and tell us how wide the photographed section is. The sheet then appears true to scale in the size you choose. Your photo stays on your device and is never uploaded.
Add a photo of your wall
Drag the work where you want it — with the mouse, your finger or the arrow keys.
The sheet dimensions are accurate. The perspective and lighting of your photo are not calculated, so this is a close approximation, not a rendering.
Your photo does not leave your device. It is sent neither to us nor to anyone else, and is stored nowhere.
