Sailing Ships

Yachts under full sail, painted by Peter Wirth: a regatta in the haze, a dark hull on grey-green water, a yacht heeling into the spray, white sails at night. Sea and sky are laid down in broad fields of blue, turquoise and violet; against them the sails are the brightest thing in each picture. All eight paintings are acrylic on cotton canvas, each 100 × 120 cm; in the artist's catalogue of works they stand close together.

Every sheet is an open-edition pigment print after the original, on Hahnemühle German Etching, with a white border and a printed facsimile of the signature; each ships with its own certificate.
