Two sheets from the Egyptian Guardians on rose grounds: a pale head on rose, and a crown in green and rose, more movement than likeness.
Both are portrait sheets in the same size. Hung side by side, with a hand's width between them, they read as one quiet pair.
Printed to order on Hahnemühle German Etching, 310 gsm, with pigment inks, in the United States. Each sheet carries a white border and comes with its own certificate.
In this set
Offered as a sheet in 8 × 10 inches. As a pair, the 2 prints come at a better price than singly, and they ship together in one parcel.
Living with the work — how much wall a pair needs, how far apart to hang them, and what changes at eye level.
Fine art reproductions after originals by Peter Wirth (1951–2018), printed from archive photographs of the originals. Open edition: every print is made to order. Where the artist's name appears on the sheets, it is a printed facsimile signature applied by the estate. The registration number on each certificate is your copy’s own number in our archive. This is a posthumous edition: the original works date from the artist's lifetime; the prints are made after his death in 2018.

Size Guide
8 × 10 in (20 × 25 cm)
11 × 14 in (28 × 36 cm)
12 × 16 in (30 × 41 cm)
16 × 20 in (41 × 51 cm)
18 × 24 in (46 × 61 cm)
These are sheet sizes. Every unframed print carries a white border, and the artwork sits inside it at its own proportions — so the image is smaller than the sheet, and nothing is cropped to fit.
The size guide shows all five to scale against a sofa.

Before you buy
See it on your wall
Upload a photo of your wall and tell us how wide the photographed section is. The sheet then appears true to scale in the size you choose. Your photo stays on your device and is never uploaded.
Add a photo of your wall
Drag the work where you want it — with the mouse, your finger or the arrow keys.
The sheet dimensions are accurate. The perspective and lighting of your photo are not calculated, so this is a close approximation, not a rendering.
Your photo does not leave your device. It is sent neither to us nor to anyone else, and is stored nowhere.
