Nine chalk landscapes from 2007, hung as a square of three rows. At the top, white buildings in the light; in the middle, summer fields under an open sky; at the bottom, green country seen from above — wind over the hills, flowing horizons, a wide emerald valley with a few small roofs. The first two rows are also sold as The Chalk Landscapes · Six.

All nine are landscape sheets in the same size. Hung as three rows of three they need about 34 × 28 inches at 8 × 10 in, or 46 × 37 inches at 11 × 14 in, with 2 inches between the sheets.

Printed to order on Hahnemühle German Etching, 310 gsm, with pigment inks, in the United States. Every sheet carries a white border, and the artwork sits inside it at its own proportions — the whole picture, exactly as painted. Each sheet ships with its own certificate and its own registration number.

Open edition: every print is made to order. Where the artist's name appears on the sheets, it is a printed facsimile signature applied by the estate. This is a posthumous edition: the original works date from the artist's lifetime; the prints are made after his death in 2018.
