Three tulips painted so close that the bloom fills the sheet. A pale pink tulip against grey-blue; white petals edged in pink before blue-green; a white tulip streaked with red and ochre against red and blue. The petals are laid in broad, milky strokes, and the stem only just enters at the bottom.

All three are portrait sheets in the same size. Hung as a row of three they need about 28 × 10 inches at 8 × 10 in, or 37 × 14 inches at 11 × 14 in, with 2 inches between the sheets.

Printed to order on Hahnemühle German Etching, 310 gsm, with pigment inks, in the United States. Every sheet carries a white border, and the artwork sits inside it at its own proportions — the whole picture, exactly as painted. Each sheet ships with its own certificate and its own registration number.
